ROCK Cake

Jangan ngebayangin makanan ini sekeras batu yah!
Mungkin bisa juga dinamain chewy cookies deh. Bisa u/ sarapan, cemilah, bekel ke sekolah... Nah krn resepnya dari buku resep u/ anak2 'Babies & Toodlers GOOD FOOD' jadi rasanya juga mild, gak terlalu manis, which is very good for everyone!
** resepnya gue modifikasi dikit, terigunya gak pake self raising flour tapi pake terigu biasa plus baking powder & baking soda, juga ditambahin choc chips.

2 cups flour
1-3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
90 gr butter, chopped coarsely
1/3 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup sultanas
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk (approximately)
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 tbs caster sugar (extra)

Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon into large bowl; rub in butter, stir sugar , sultanas & chocolate chips. Stir in egg, then enough milk to mix to a moist but firm dough; drop heaped tablespoons of micture 5 cm apart ount grease oven tray. Springkle a little extra caster sugar over the top of each cake; bake in moderately hot oven about 15 minutes or until browned lightly. Loosen cakes; cool on tray.

Makes 18, Storage Airtight container, up to 3 days.

Chocolate Pudding

Ini salah satu dessert favorite keluarga kita.
Setelah diutak-utik... kurangi gula dan telur, mmm rasanya sekarang udah perfect!

1 bungkus agar2 bubuk (putih-7 gr)
130 gr gula pasir
1/8 sdt garam
30 gr coklat bubuk, larutkan dgn 200 ml air panas
500 ml susu cair (low fat yah)
2 butir telur ayam, kocok
2 sdm rum

1. Siapkan loyang puding, basahi air matang (dingin).
2. Campurkan agar2, gula pasir, garam, coklat bubuk & susu cair.
3. Masak di atas api sedang sambil aduk2 hingga gula larut & mendidih.
4. Ambil 50 ml larutan agar2 panas, aduk dgn telur kocok hingga rata.
5. Tuang kembali ke dalam adonan agar2... masak sembil aduk2 hingga mendidih kembali,
Angkat. Tambahkan rum (kalo suka).
6. Tuang adonan agar2 ke dalam loyang, biarkan hingga beku.
7. Hidangkan dingin bersama saus fla.

Saus FLA;
2 kuning telur
2 sdt maizena
500 ml susu cair (low fat)
100 gr gula pasir
1 sdt rum

Aduk kuning telur bersama maizena hingga rata. Tuangi 100 ml susu, aduk rata.
Masak sisa susu dan gula pasir hingga mendidih & gula larut. Kecilkan api.
Tuangi campuran kuning telur sambil terus diaduk hingga rata & mengental. Aduk2 hingga dingin dan tambahkan rum. Dinginkan ...

Tips:
u/ menghindari telur kecepetan matang yg berakibat terjadi serabut2 kuning/menggumpal;
- telur yg digunakan berada dalam suhu ruangan.
- stelah campuran mendidih sebaiknya api dimatiin dulu. (tahap no 3). Diamkan sejenak.
- lanjut ke tahap no 4.
- pada tahap no 5, tuang campuran telur + agar2 perlahan2 (ke dalam panci yg apinya mati tadi)... aduk perlahan, hingga tercampur rata. ~kalau apinya tetep nyala, takutnya ntar si kuning telur keburu mateng sebelum tercampur rata dgn agar2.
Kemudian nyalakan lagi api hingga campuran mendidih (gunanya u/ mematangkan telur).
dst...dst... Mudah2an telurnya tercampur rata dgn agar2.

Banana MUFFIN.

Bikinnya... gampang bgt -- Rasanya... enak bgt
Bahannya... standart, murmer. Kurang apa coba?
Resepnya gue comot dari
'1001 SNACKS for Instant Gratification'
by Gregg R. Gillespie. Thx yee, sorry garemnya gue kurangi!
Gue paling doyan ama resep yg pake cup2an (bukan ditimbang!). Praktis!

1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour.
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 large egg
1/3 cup canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 big bananas, mashed (~5 pisang susu)
tambahan : chocolate chips & raisin u/ taburan

1. Position the rack in the center of the oven & preheat to 180 C.
If you use muffin pan, lightly grease the pan.
2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt...Whisk well.
3. In another bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the egg, oil and sugar untin smooth and blended. Add the mashed banana...mix well. Add the dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Do not over mix.
4. Spoon into the muffin cups, drop some raisins & choc chips on the top, filling each about 2/3 full and bake for 25-30 minutes or unti a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Cool slightly on wire racks and SERVE WARM.

Easy & Yummy CHOCOLATE cake.

These are some pictures of our homemade cakes. Looks very tempting? Actually, the basic chocolate cake behind the cream/custard is same...a super easy chocolate cake. Just follow the recipe below. Special thank you for Hershey's Cocoa Powder for the recipe.
Look at the recipe... you just need 2 EGGS! not like other recipes that need lots of eggs. The result >> a very soft, rich and yummy chocolate cake! Try it...

2 cups sugar
1-3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa powder (you can use other brand!)
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

1. Heat oven to 350 F or 180 C.
2. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Stir in boiling water (Batter will be thin). Pour into two 9" round pan or one 13"x9" pan greased and floured pans.
3. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, Remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely.

Bahasa Indonesia;
1. Panaskan oven 350 F atau 180 C.
2. Campur bahan2 kering dalam mangkuk besar. Tambahkan telur, susu, minyak dan vanilla. Kocok selama 2 menit dgn mixer kecepatan sedang. Campurkan air mendidih (adonan akan menjadi cair). Tuang ke dlm dua buah loyang 9" atau satu loyang berukuran 13"x9" yang sudah diolesi mentega dan ditaburi terigu.
3. Bake selama 30-35 menit. Dinginkan selama 10 menit kemudian pindahkan ke wire rack. Biarkan dingin sebelum diolesi cream/custard.

** kalo mo variasiin dikit,... jadi coffee cake, ganti vanilla dgn kahlua (coffee liquor) atau coffee essense, boiling waternya diganti ama 1 cup kopi.

Lemon Cake

Waktu lagi nge'bake' cake ini... aduhay... wangi lemon merebak seantero rumah.
Selain wangi, cake ini juga soft bgt. Cocok u/ sarapan, atau u/ minum teh sore2.
MMmm yummy... Resepnya gue modifikasi dari resep di majalah femina.
Kalo Patrick...sukanya makan cake ini bareng es krim.

100 gr butter
175 gr gula pasir (halus)
2 butir telur ayam
4 sdm susu cair (low fat)
2 sdt baking powder
1/2 sdt baking soda
175 gr terigu
1 jeruk lemon (ambil air, parut halus kulitnya)

Cara membuat:
1. Siapkan loyang persegi ukuran 20x20x4 cm, oleskan margarine hingga rata.
Taburi sedikit terigu, ratakan...sisihkan
2. Kocok butter dan gula pasir hingga kental dan gula larut.
Tambahkan telur satu persatu sambil terus kocok hingga rata.
3. Masukkan susu, air jeruk dan parutan kulit jeruk sambil terus dikocok hingga rata.
4. Tambahkan tepung terigu, baking powder dan baking soda, aduk rata.
Tuang ke dalam loyang, ratakan.
5. Panggang dalam oven panas bersuhu 180 C selama 35 menit hingga matang dan berwarna kuning kecoklatan, angkat dan biarkan dingin.
SAJIKAN.

**sebenarnya di resep ini bagian akhirnya ditaburi gula bubuk diatas cake, cuma gak gue lakukan. Alesannya... sebenarnya tiap kali masak/baking gue selalu ngusahain ngurangi jumlah gula juga telur. Seperlunya aja. Jadi... kita jarang pake taburan gula bubuk gitu.

Puding Almond Leci

Siapa yg gak suka puding? rugi lah kalo gak suka he..he..he..
Kebetulan gue baru nyoba bikin puding ini, rasanya 'little bit' different dgn puding lain.

Selama ini fave keluarga kita ya chocolate puding... yg ini resepnya gue modifikasi dari resep majalah Femina dan ... as usual, kalo bikin puding u/ anak2 gue suka nambahin biskuit marie.
Biar ada yg digigit2 dikit...yummy...
Krn cetakannya kecil2 jadi biskuitnya di pecahin kecil2.
Cocok u/ acara masak bareng anak

400 ml air
120 g gula pasir
1 bungkus agar2 bubuk (putih)
400 ml susu evaporasi
1/2 sdt esens almond
1 kaleng leci (425 g) -dinginkan
Bbrp keping biskuit marie (regal)

Cara membuat:
1. Didihkan air, gula pasir, dan agar2...aduk rata.
2. Tambahkan susu evaporasi dan esens almond, aduk cepat.
Didihkan sekali lagi. Angkat.
3. Tuang dalam cetakan yg disediakan (sesuai selera),
yg sudah diperciki air dingin.
4. Taruh bbrp potong biskuit dlm cetakan tsb.
Diamkan hingga dingin dan beku.
5. Sajikan dingin bersama leci dan air leci kaleng.
